Cook County

Real estate in Archer Heights, Chicago.

A quiet bungalow-belt neighborhood on the Southwest Side, bounded by Archer Avenue and the rail and industrial land around it.
An older brick apartment building with bay windows and an ivy-covered facade, between two brick neighbors.

Archer Heights

Archer Heights is small, orderly and almost entirely brick. The housing is the classic Chicago bungalow and its close relatives, on blocks that have stayed remarkably consistent since they were built.

It is a neighborhood people tend to stay in, which keeps inventory thin. When something does come up, the buyers who already know the area move quickly.

What the housing looks like

  • Chicago brick bungalows with full basements
  • Georgians and raised ranches on standard lots
  • A small number of two-flats
