Cook County

Real estate in Little Village, Chicago.

One of Chicago's largest Mexican-American neighborhoods, anchored by the 26th Street commercial corridor on the Southwest Side.
A city intersection lined with two- and three-story brick buildings with storefronts at street level.

Little Village

Little Village runs west from the arch on 26th Street into one of the busiest retail strips in the city. Behind the corridor the blocks settle into brick two-flats, cottages and bungalows on standard Chicago lots.

For buyers this is one of the more accessible entry points into Chicago ownership, and for sellers it is a market where a prepared, properly marketed building moves. Most of the business here gets done in Spanish, which is simply how the neighborhood works.

What the housing looks like

  • Brick bungalows and cottages on 25-foot lots
  • Two-flats and three-flats used as family housing
  • Mixed-use buildings along the 26th Street corridor
